Loan document checklist
Pick the loan and the kind of company, and get the documents to ask for, each with the reason you need it. Copy the list as a message to send the applicant.
Free for lenders. No signup, and you can change it to your own policy.
The company

This loan
What the money is for, with quotes or invoices where there are any
To match the amount and the term to the purpose.
A starting point. Change it to match your own credit policy.
A list tells the applicant what to send. Klarefi asks for each item while they apply, reads what comes in, and asks again when a document is old, unreadable or not the one you need.
Build your loan applicationHow to use the list.
Ask for everything at the start
Every document you ask for later is another email and another wait. Send the full list with your first reply.
Say why you need each one
Applicants send the right document sooner when they know what it is for.
Make it yours
Every lender asks for a little more or a little less. Add what your credit policy needs and drop what it does not.
Check what comes back
An extract from last year or two months of statements instead of six is still a gap. Check each document when it arrives, not when someone opens the file.
What a list cannot do.
- Notice that the bank statements stop two months ago.
- See that the turnover on the form is not the turnover in the accounts.
- Ask the applicant for the missing page while they are still applying.
That is the work Klarefi does during the application: it asks for each item, reads what comes in, and asks again when something is old, missing or does not match.
A case file ready for your credit team.
The form says turnover was 2.4 million. The annual accounts say 2.18 million. Klarefi reads the application, the accounts and the bank statements together, asks the applicant about the difference while they are still applying, and adds the answer to the file.
Free to start. Data stored in the EU by default.
Send applicants one link
They upload the accounts, the bank statements and the rest of your list, from any device.
Klarefi checks each application
It reads every document, compares the numbers, and asks the applicant in a chat for anything missing or unclear.
Your credit team reviews one file
Every number links to the line it came from. Anything still open stays visible for review.
