Debtor list check

A debtor list shows every open invoice: who owes what, and since when. Check one for age, for how much rests on a few debtors, and for blanks, repeats and credit notes before it reaches your credit team.

Free for lenders. Excel or CSV, and nothing is uploaded.

What the check does.

  1. Finds the columns

One row per open invoice: the debtor, the invoice number, the invoice date, the due date and the open amount. You confirm which column is which.

  2. Ages every invoice

By the days past its due date, or past the invoice date plus your payment term when there is no due date.

  3. Adds up per debtor

The five debtors with the most open, and each one's share of the total.

  4. Lists what needs a look

Blank or unreadable cells, invoice numbers listed twice, credit notes, and invoices dated after the day you age them on.

What a list cannot tell you.

  • Whether the invoices are real and the work was delivered.
  • Whether the same invoices are already financed somewhere else.
  • Whether a debtor is related to the company.
  • Disputes and credit notes that are not on the list yet.

Those take the contracts, the bank statements and the accounts read together. That is the work Klarefi does during the application, and it asks the applicant about anything that does not match.

A case file ready for your credit team.

The form says turnover was 2.4 million. The annual accounts say 2.18 million. Klarefi reads the application, the accounts and the bank statements together, asks the applicant about the difference while they are still applying, and adds the answer to the file.

  1. Send applicants one link

They upload the accounts, the bank statements and the rest of your list, from any device.

  2. Klarefi checks each application

It reads every document, compares the numbers, and asks the applicant in a chat for anything missing or unclear.

  3. Your credit team reviews one file

Every number links to the line it came from. Anything still open stays visible for review.
